Artist Statement: Allen Cady

Through decades of work, restoring antique and classic watercraft, I developed extensive knowledge of the characteristics of wood and the subtleties of form and function. The many varied pieces I now create, carefully embody these characteristics, creating beautiful objects for daily use.
